Fox River Parkway Park (north and south) is located in southern Waukesha. The two parks feature bike trails, picnic areas and two ponds and highlight the Fox River.

Waukesha Schuetze Recreation Center

Part of Waukesha's Park, Recreation & Forestry Department, the "Schuetze Building" is a place with activities for all ages. It has rental space available to the community as well. The programs offered here have participants ages 2 years old to those 55+. Some of their programs include: pre-school, 4k, exercise classes, tae kwon do and poms. The center holds games for the 55 and over group, a special benefit for seniors and has plenty of bridge groups and volunteer programs available. Charles Heyer Park

Heyer Park is located near Sunset Drive and Highway 59. It is neighbors with Heyer Elementary School. A feature of Heyer Park is the born learning trail, with tips and tricks to interact and educate young children while playing at the park. Heyer Park also has tennis courts. Fishing is allowed in Heyer Park's two ponds.
