Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association aids producers in the marketing, managing and financing of their agricultural businesses and is comprised of 22 profit-bearing divisions. Of the 22 divisions, 13 are auction markets in Wisconsin and Iowa. As a federated cooperative, Equity Cooperative Livestock s common stock is owned and controlled by local shipping associations that tie the parent cooperative to the patron members, who are responsible for electing peers to represent them on the regional board of directors.
