Ellsworth Community Middle School provides learning opportunities for students in grades five through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, math, social studies, arts, civics, health, science and industrial design. Located in Ellsworth, Wis., the school offers various programs, including music, band, physical education, keyboarding, and family and consumer education. Ellsworth Community Middle School operates a media center that provides more than 8,000 books and periodicals, as well as a variety of electronic resources, such as online encyclopedias, CD-ROMs and the Internet. It administers the EBD program, which includes a structured learning environment for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Ellsworth Community Middle School also maintains a parent-teacher organization that participates in a variety of activities. It is a part of the Ellsworth Community School District, which enrolls over 1,700 students and operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
