History
Located on 80 acres between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek on Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula, Edgewood Orchard was originally a successful apple and cherry orchard that operated into the 1950s. Irene Haberland and her daughter Anne opened the doors of Edgewood Orchard Galleries on June 29, 1969, breathing new life into the old stone fruit barn. Leaded glass and woodcarving done by Anne's husband Minnow Emerson have transformed the gallery buildings and courtyard into a place of true inspiration amidst the diverse and changing collection of artwork by accomplished painters, glass artists, jewelers, potters, woodworkers and sculptors.
