History
Couples seeking to add a reverent and vintage touch to their wedding celebration should consider the DeKoven Center located in Racine, Wisconsin. Situated on 10 landscaped acres on the shores of Lake Michigan, the DeKoven Center has nine buildings to accommodate all mid-size and small weddings. The DeKoven Center was founded by the Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin in 1852 and originally centered around the formation of young men in an Episcopalian seminar. Though it was sold to the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee in 1985, the vision of Father James DeKoven is still upheld at the DeKoven Center today.
