History
A milk recieving station was built here at the four corners about 1897. About the same time a store was built here and was named Crescent, they were making a brand of cheese called Crescent. Prohibition repealed in 1932, that is when the first bar was started in the Crescent store. It was torn down and rebuilt in 1965. It is now known as Crescent Tavern.
