History
Chester V's has brought a piece of history back to life. The building has been around since the late 1800's and was first known as Rumlows. A general store, water pump station, gas station, saloon, and a place to cash your check. In the late1920's it burned down and was rebuilt. It remained Runlows until the 1990's when it became Mario's Mexican restaurant. On May 5th 2015, Dave Vienola and Dirk Binnema, two local businessmen, purchased the building with the intent to do a renovation and sell it. It quickly became a passion project that resulted in complete transformation. Dave Vienola had a vision and has stopped at nothing to bring it to life. The entire building was gutted and rebuilt using many reclaimed materials that were on site. The oversized wooden doors, the pub, and dining tables were made by his hands at his nearby woodshop with repurposed machine pedestals and I beams serving as the bases.
