The Human Resources department is a part of the government of Brown County in Wisconsin. It administers the personnel policies and procedures adopted by the county board. The department conducts the county s labor agreements, classification and compensation plans, and performance planning and review programs. The Human Resources department is responsible for verifying and processing all payroll transaction forms. It coordinates the recruitment, selection, orientation, development, transfer and separation of employees. The department offers services related to unemployment compensation, civil rights compliance, and employee training and job analyses. In addition, the Human Resources department administers employee benefit programs for county offices and agencies.
