Originally opened and ran by Alan and Alvin Muenzenberger in 1979, Big Al's Pizza has been a staple for the La Crosse community for 40 years! Big Al's was started You'll be surrounded by vintage Americana, friendly staff, and all of the pizza you can eat at Big Al's Pizza. Each day we make our pizza dough from scratch. We make your order when you place it. We use 100 percent real Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese, locally purchased vegetables - cut fresh daily and top quality meats. We don't skimp out on the toppings. We use the same Al's Original secret crust, pizza and sauce recipes that have been used to create this iconic La Crosse pizza since it's opening in 1979. In this new chapter of Big Al's story, we want to ensure that generations of families are able to enjoy the same great tastes that they have always known. Big Al's most recent ownership change happened in the Spring of 2019.
