HistoryThe Ranch was started many years before, When I retired from the Army, in 2003, to help with my PTSD and other disabilities, also to help cope with civilian life. I realized that returning back to farming and rescuing animals, helped in so many ways. The help for me didn't just come from one thing, but many different thing. Putting my hands in the soil, comforting animals, harvesting food from the garden, helping other veterans and others in need and so much more. After 10+ year of trial and error, doing research, talking to many veterans, listening to their requests and ideas.
