Hastings Extraction Plant is one of the largest natural gas plants in the East. The plant produces high-purity products as opposed to refinery grades. Its product list includes propane, normal butane, isobutene and natural gasoline. Located in Pine Grove, W.Va., Hastings Extraction Plant is a part of Dominion Gathering-Producer Services, which operates more than 5,400 miles of gathering pipeline and over 90 gathering compressor stations in Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. The parent company extracts, fractionates, stores, transports and markets to various end user markets, including propane retailers, refineries, petrochemical facilities and aerosol companies. It accesses markets in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.
