Clearwater School allows children to partake of democracy at an early age. This educational institution gives its students the power of voting to influence school governing, which includes rules, policies, and budget. These polices are enforced, and repercussions for failing to abide is dictated by a judicial system, in which students participate.
Operating without grades, tests and age separation, Clearwater School also believes in the freedom to choose, and this is reflected in it unleashing students to dabble in their own desires, whether it's reading, making jewelry, role-playing, writing poetry, or playing basketball. According to the school's philosophy, this allows kids to learn and explore naturally and without limits, and is more similar to the way they will learn throughout later life.
Enrollment is open all year, and summer programs and preschool programs are also available.
