History
The Barbeque Pit Seattle was established in 2009 and has since been hailed as some of the best barbecue in Seattle. The restaurant has re-located several times but has found its home in the old location of R.L. Home of Good BBQ. Home of Good BBQ opened its doors in the 1950s and Pookey (the owner of The Barbeque Pit) wishes to continue its BBQ tradition. The place serves as being a monument to the Central District. It has been patronized by many celebrities of the Central District and Seattle and beyond - Jimi Hendrix, Quincy Jones, Kenny G and Bruce Lee to name a few. The establishment is now trying to express its historical nature and serve again as a neighborhood monument. The Best Barbeque in Seattle is here!
