Founded in 1955 and located in Spokane, Wash., Saint George's School is an independent college preparatory school that enrolls more than 350 students. The school provides career-oriented courses and academic education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Saint George's School is approved by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French and Dutch. Additionally, it offers advanced placement courses in biology, calculus, chemistry, economics, environmental science, English language and literature, European history, French, physics and United States history. Saint George's School also organizes various extracurricular activities for its students, such as art and crafts, music, choir, painting, photography and field trips. The school provides various sports activities, such as basketball, cross country, track and field, volleyball and tennis.
