South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity, established in 1989 by Jerry and Cindy Shultz, is dedicated to building homes and hope in Thurston County. Through the collaborative efforts of volunteers and donors, they develop and construct affordable housing communities, empowering families to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance.
With a focus on homeownership as a pathway to brighter futures, South Puget Sound Habitat has built 83 homes, housed 112 children and 134 adults, and benefited from over 40,000 hours of volunteered time. Every gift to this registered nonprofit organization helps families build a foundation for a better tomorrow.
