The VFW exists for veterans of combat in foreign wars and armed combat to maintain the common bond that exists between those who have served to maintain something higher than themselves. This post has officers that assist veterans with VA claims, coordinates direct material support, honors the fallen, and provides individual and community outreach and programs. The extensive canteen includes a bar, multi-use hall, patio and lawn for outdoor festivities, and dining room, some of which are available for private use. The VFW and the Men's and Women's Auxiliary host a multitude of brunches, dinners, and socials for veterans, their families, and the general public.
