History

Previously an Ashtanga yoga studio, it began as City Yoga, lived a short life as MoveMore Spokane, then it changed hands to Ara Lyman in 2015 as The Spokane Yoga Shala. The Shala is a now a diverse studio honoring many styles. In 2020, due to relocation from commercial development and Covid restrictions the studio was in Ara's home for one year and the name has changed to
