26% of Seattle’s green house gas emissions are produced from the energy use in our buildings.The City of Seattle has established the Green Building Capital initiative with the goal of reducing energy consumption in Seattle’s existing building stock by 20%One aspect of this initiative is The Seattle Building Energy Benchmarking and Reporting legislation (Ordinance 123226) which requires commercial and multifamily building owners to conduct annual energy performance tracking through the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager. The ordinance includes three components: Benchmarking, Reporting and Disclosure.Our Services: Set up an Energy Star Portfolio Manager account for each buildingGather and input necessary building data.Set up automated benchmarking from the utilities.Report the energy usage to the City.Provide building owner with a log-in and password to access their Portfolio Manager account.
