History
The Port of Everett is a natural deep water port located 25 miles north of Seattle and 90 miles south of Vancouver, B.C. on the Puget Sound. The Port is a special purpose district tasked with economic development, and is governed by three Port Commissioners: Troy McClelland, Michael Hoffmann and Tom Stiger. The Port of Everett strives to bring jobs, business and tourism to its local and surrounding communities, as well as maintaining the overall environmental health of our waterfront. Port activities support more than 31,600 jobs for the surrounding community. The Port of Everett operates three lines of business: 1) International shipping terminals; 2)Marina facilities; and 3) Property development. The Port operates eight shipping berths situated on approximately 100 acres of land, a bulk unloading facility, multi-purpose warehouse and is served by the BNSF Railroad.
