Pioneer Middle School, located in Walla Walla, Wash., and established in 1990, provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes English, math, language arts, science and social studies. It organizes various after school programs, and offers academic and financial assistance to its students. The school has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, fiction and nonfiction books, journals, referral sources, and offers access to the Internet. It also offers various sports activities, such as basketball and wrestling, and organizes interschool sports competitions. Pioneer Middle School provides various extracurricular activities, such as arts, music, band, and operates an alternative education program that provides student support services. The school enrolls more than 600 students and is a part of the Walla Walla Public Schools district.
