History
Peaceful Training was founded in 2013 by Kalpanatit Broderick. Kal was a High school All-American in cross country at O'Dea high school (Seattle), a full athletic scholarship recipient for Track and Field at Georgetown University (D.C.), where he majored in Sociology and a post collegiate professional track and field athlete for Nike, where he competed for over 10 years against some of the best runners in the United States and world. Kal grew up in a household that held meditation and athletics in very high esteem. He began a dedicated practice of meditation (twice daily) at the age of 4 and played on at least two athletic teams each season. His meditation practice followed him thoughout his entire athletic career and after he retired from sport, he founded Peaceful Training in the hopes of offering to others what both meditation and physical fitness brought to him, inner peace and tranquility.
