Darrell A. Owens, DNP, FAAN is the founder and clinic chief of the UW Outpatient Primary, Palliative and Supportive Care Program in Seattle, WA. He is an assistant professor of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems, and Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Owens is dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals with chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
With a background in nursing, Dr. Owens believes in the importance of supporting patients until the end of their lives. He has received recognition for his pioneering work in palliative care and is committed to improving the quality of life for his patients.
