The Olympia Union Gospel Mission, established in 1995, provides safety, shelter and support to homeless and poverty stricken individuals. The organization s Life Recovery Center offers daily meals and daytime shelter, as well as emotional support and care for troubled individuals. It also provides counseling, addiction recovery and other support services to people. The Olympia Union Gospel Mission assists single women with children in finding a safe place to live and care for their children while recovering from addictions, abuse, divorce and emotional traumas through the Genesis Acres Recovery Program. It offers the Abigail's ministry for women suffering from the affects of domestic violence. The organization also operates a recovery program for men, as well as dental and eye care services.
