In 1956, National Food opened its doors as Northwest Egg Sales, with a small egg grading plant in Seattle. The company has continually expanded to become a fully integrated producer and processor of eggs and egg products. National Food operates its own feed mills, pullet farms, layer farms, processing plants and distribution centers in Washington, Oregon, Montana and South Dakota, serving markets throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Hawaii and the Midwest. By controlling every aspect of production, processing, distribution and marketing, it is able to assure its customers of the highest quality shell eggs and egg products, backed by effective customer service and support programs. The company is also an exporter of eggs and egg products to markets in Asia. National Food is based in Everett, Wash.
