Matt Jones dreamed of owning a small restaurant from an early age. He graduated high school in 1979 and went to college earning a business degree from BYU. He went on to graduate school at USC, earning an MBA in 1987. After that, it was five years of commercial mortgage banking in downtown Los Angeles. Matt and his family decided to follow a dream, moving to Seattle and starting Matt's in 1992. Over twenty years of working, Matt still loves being at the restaurant, serving great food and having customers, many who have become friends, come in to eat. There is still a passion after all these years!
