The Lakeview Hope Elementary School's philosophy is that teachers and students should learn and grow together. "All students are perceived as being capable of success. It is a school where everyone believes learning is a lifelong process." The school has adopted two curricula: Bridges for kindergarten and Math Connects for first through fifth grades. These math programs align with the state standards and provide coherence and consistency within grade levels across the district
The principal, JoDee Owens, has an open-door policy and encourages parents and the community to visit and discuss the educational future of the elementary school.
There is a Boys and Girls club located on the same block which offers after-school programs and sports.
