Located in Lakebay, Wash., Key Peninsula Middle School has been providing education to the students of the area since 1981. Part of Peninsula School District, the school provides facilities, such as 22 regular teaching stations, six portable classrooms, industrial arts area, two music rooms, two computer labs, one full-size gym, an additional gym, two athletic fields and a regulation cinder track. It also encourages a number of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and wrestling. In addition to providing education, sports instruction and training, Key Peninsula Middle School takes care of the children's medical requirement by taking care of their immunization schedules, having a medication room in the school and teaching them health topics.

Founded in 2005, Sequoyah Middle School has an enrollment of more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school s core curriculum includes math, science, language arts and social studies. It offers various sports activities, such as football, softball, wrestling, basketball, gymnastics, baseball, volleyball, and track and field. Sequoyah Middle School s music curriculum includes orchestra, band, choir and jazz band. The school maintains a parent-teacher-student association. It organizes spaghetti dinners and bingo nights.
