History
After going to New Orleans in the fall of 2005 to volunteer with Acupuncturists without Borders, offering acupuncture to help residents recover from trauma associated with Hurricane Katrina, I witnessed first hand the power of acupuncture to heal people in groups. I also realized that many people in America do not receive acupuncture due to it high cost and the boutique flavor which is a turn off to many. When I heard about a group called Working Class Acupuncture offering seminars in how to create a business friendly to people of all income levels, races, and cultures, I jumped at the opportunity and in the fall of 2006, I attended their first conference and shortly thereafter, helped establish Seattle's first community acupuncture clinic - CommuniChi, here on Beacon Hill. Since our opening in early 2007, thousands of people have experienced the benefits of low cost acupuncture. Come check us out. We have several upcoming Free Days for new patients in Fall 2010.
