The Islamic Center of Tri-Cities, established in 1979, is located in West Richland, WA, serving a community of over 500 families and nearly 1500 Muslims in the Tri-Cities area. Originally starting in a small residential house, the center expanded to a present mosque built in 1996 on 2.5 acres of land to accommodate the growing community.
Under the leadership of Imam Mohamed Elsayed Abdelsalam Mohamed, the center provides religious education, counseling, and support to its members, along with conducting religious ceremonies and engaging in community outreach and interfaith dialogue. Imam Mohamed is known for his friendly and approachable demeanor, making him a beloved figure within the community.
