Located in the Willows Business Center, Aikido Academy for Children offers aikido classes for both children and adults. Aikido is a type of martial arts that teaches self-discipline, respect, focus, confidence and self-defense. It focuses on blending, redirecting and balance and relies less on physical strength and conditioning than other martial arts forms. Aikido Academy offers a range of classes at various times throughout the week. They also have a store where you can buy clothing and accessories. The instructor, Sensei William Gray, has trained extensively in various styles of Aikido since 1985 and holds a fourth degree black belt.
