History
Green House Data was founded in 2007 with a simple mission: provide the high-availability and raw power needed for critical business infrastructure while remaining a transparent, responsibly run company. When exploring the data center industry, we quickly found that the impact a single facility could have on electrical consumption was astronomical. A different solution was needed, one that was more environmentally friendly. Green House Data purchases Renewable Energy Credits for over 100% of our electricity consumption with no added cost to you. This has allowed us to absorb the premium price of renewable energy and pass the savings down to our customers without sacrifice to performance and reliability. In early 2015, Green House Data acquired FiberCloud which brought data centers in Seattle, Everett, and Bellingham, WA - greatly expanding Green House Data's reach and depth on the west coast.
