The French American School of Puget Sound offers a strong bilingual program to students from Preschool, starting at age 3, through Grade Eight in both French and English.
FASPS is part of an international network of over 400 schools worldwide. Our internationally recognized program inspires a lifelong love of learning, which children carry with them long after their years at FASPS.
All English-speaking teachers are state accredited, while the native French-speaking teachers are certified by the French Ministry of Education. The school library features 16,000 titles in French and English with a selection of Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. The school also features a diverse student body, with more than 40 nationalities represented.
Most school facilities were rebuilt in 2007 and the school grounds feature several outdoor play structures and a recreation field. The school also partners with the Stroum Jewish Community Center for students' Physical Education.
The school is under the direction of Headmaster Eric Thuau and is currently seeking accreditation as an International Baccalaureate Program "IB World School."
