The First Baptist Church of Enumclaw was first established in 1960 and met at a church closer to downtown Enumclaw on Griffin Avenue before moving to its current location at 3466 Porter Street in the 1970s.
The current location includes a fellowship hall, multiple classrooms and a worship hall sitting in front of 5 acres of open grass land that is suited for a variety of church and community activities.
Driven by the mission: "Exalt the Savior, Evangelize the lost, and Equip the saints," current Pastor James D. Dunn leads a congregation of about 150.
Members participate in events and fundraisers through which they are able to put raised funds immediately back into serving the community. The First Baptist Church of Enumclaw is a supporter of Plateau Outreach Ministries through its membership in the Plateau Ministerial Association. The Church also conducts its own community outreach. You can check the church Web site for information on latest efforts and for a complete schedule of services.
