Eckenberg Farms is one of largest producers of hay cubes in the world. It also supplies compressed hay bales and a range of other forage products. The company, founded in 1963, owns more than 3,000 acres of prime alfalfa and timothy land in the Columbia River basin in Washington and has over 50 employees. Eckenberg Farms also sources hay from growers located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Its production facilities produce nearly 10,000 metric tons of hay cubes per year. The company s farming operations include irrigation, swathing, raking, baling and hauling. Its specialty cubes feature vitamins, minerals, molasses and grains. The company also produces total mixed ration cubes for horses. Eckenberg Farms sliced cubes are mixed with other products in compound feeds.
