Most realtors get the lay of the land by getting to know their city one house, one block, one neighborhood at a time. I took a different route by flying over Seattle on a regular basis. If you haven't done it at least once, I highly recommend it. From the sky, Seattle isn't a map of separated zip codes and neighborhoods; it's a breathtaking vista of architecture and natural beauty. I've always had a thing for adventure and style, so naturally I wanted to be a pilot since I was a child. Leather jacket. Aviator goggles. Hair blowing in the wind... paradise In 1999, I was hired by a small company at Boeing Field to run their aircraft charter department. This job entailed a host of complex project management, customer service, contract negotiation, Aviation law and mediation skills. After 9/11, the career prospects in aviation were fading, so I started looking for a safe place to land... Oops! No more space.
