Home Dave and I have been involved with dogs for about 17 years. We started Critter Sitters in 1997, after realizing the need for a non-traditional style of boarding for dogs. In 2004 we opened a doggy daycare in Burlington. Then in 2007 our son Aaron joined the business and now he runs the daycare and Dave and I take care of the boarding. I have been a certified dog trainer since 1996 and Dave received his certification in 2005. We are all very involved in the Skagit County 4-H dog project, and I am one of the founder of a rescue group call S.P.O.T. (Saving Pets One At A Time). We know that we can't replace you, no one can, but we can provide a secondary home with caring people, structure and activities, which fill up many hours of your pet's day and help alleviate your absence. All dogs that stay with us at daycare or boarding are given special care and attention, and being that we are a small operation, we can give that extra care that is needed to make your dogs visit a pleasurable one.
