Formed in 1997, Community Health Education & Resources is a division of Inland Northwest Health Services, which is a nonprofit corporation that provides collaborative health care services. Also known as CHER, the division offers public and professional health education, screening services, rural outreach programs and wellness classes for various health care providers. It offers classes on diabetes, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tobacco cessation, parenting and childbirth. The division also organizes various professional training events for the members of health care community. Community Health Education & Resources additionally offers stress management services. Located in Spokane, Wash., the division accepts insurance plans from various provider companies. It works in collaboration with the Deaconess Medical Center, Holy Family Hospital, Sacred Heart Medical Center, and Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.
