Morgan Owings Elementary School serves more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a parent-teacher association that provides programs, activities, information and resources that strengthen relationships between school staff, students and the community. The school offers a variety of counseling services that include personal and crisis counseling, agency referral, consultation and supervised peer mediation. The counseling department addresses numerous issues, including personal safety, violence prevention, problem solving, decision making, goal setting, study skills, self-awareness and self-management, conflict resolution, drug and alcohol awareness, and career exploration and preparation.
