Boys & Girls Club, 313 37th Pl SE, Auburn, WA 98002, US

The Boys & Girls Club of Lakewood offers after-school programs for elementary school-aged children as well as middle and high schoolers. The Club is located at the Gary and Carol Milgard Family HOPE Center and includes a large playing field, a great deal of playground equipment including slides, swings and jungle gyms, and a large, welcoming facility. It offers programs for all ages in subjects such as character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, sports, fitness and recreation, technology and the arts. The first thing visitors will see from the parking lot is the modern architecture of a building made possible by grants from the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation. Inside is a vibrant learning community composed of children from all backgrounds, taught by caring adults who believe that any child can succeed. Continuing grants and the availability of scholarships make the fees affordable for any family.
