Hunt Elementary School
Hunt Elementary School, administrated by the Puyallup School District, provides a range of educational services to more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade six. Established in 1990, its academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, music, social studies, reading, writing, science, mathematics and physical education. The school s parent-teacher association is involved in various school activities, including a school savings program, family nights, first grade reading program, book fairs, field trips, student learning council and Family Curriculum Nights. In addition, it has an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. The school provides opportunities for its students to participate in several activities, such as a recess track program, band, knitting and writing clubs, orchestra, peer mediation and student council.
