History
I began my business in 2013. My passion has always been to offer excellent, effective massage therapy. This included offering excellent care following injury or surgery, encompassing a wholistic approach. I work with muscles, but also the viscera, tendons, bones, the brain and lymphatic system My practice has grown in size as I gain a broader referral base and from word of mouth. I joined Business Networking International (BNI) on the Plateau three plus years ago and this has significantly increased my visibility, public speaking and understanding of effective business practices.
Specialties
Effective Massage Therapy with a specialty in decreasing swelling after injury/ surgery. I offer two kinds of massage. The first is what I call old-fashioned massage, the kind of massage that loosens you up and offers long term change, without it being painful. When I receive a massage, I need it to be effective and relaxing. I want results that last. I need to offer the same to clients. The second massage I offer is to relieve swelling from recent injuries and surgeries. I work with the Lymphatic System to get the swelling down so the body can heal quickly. It's called Lymphatic Drainage. I don't need to work directly over and injury, yet the Lymphatic work yields quick and effective results. I have training in Myofascial, Swedish, Lymphatic and Craniosacral Massage and I've been teaching these an other subjects since 2005.
