Yakima Valley Community College
Yakima Valley Community College is approved by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, National League for Nursing, and Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. Operational for more than 80 years, the college has campuses in Yakima and Grandview, Wash. It enrolls more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually, and employs over 1,000 faculty members. It offers first and second year of college programs, and awards associate of arts and sciences degrees and certificates of proficiency. Yakima Valley Community College also provides vocational training, work force and community development classes, contract education, state-of-the-art computer center, and several cultural and recreational activities. Additionally, it offers various assistance services, such as telephone registration, academic and personal counseling, financial aid services, international student services, re-entry services, sports counseling, disabled students programs and services, assessment, and career and transfer assistance.
