History
Bought this historic ranch 2 years ago and I am developing the secluded campground for adventurers to hike, hunt, swim in the lakes, go birding, photograph wildlife and scenery, cross country ski, or just lay back and relax in the peace and quiet. No motorized vehicles are allowed off the main roads in the area so it will remain quiet for visitors. This is the site of the stagecoach layover between the railroad station at Sprague, Washington and Omak, Washington. The stage stopped overnight here at the old 2-story hotel (now the site of the ranch house) before traveling on to Omak in the morning. There was always enough water in the springs to take care of horses and travelers.
