Charlottesville High School provides various learning opportunities to the communities based in Charlottesville, Va. The school offers classes from grades kindergarten through 12 and enrolls more than 1,000 students. It offers a wide range of subjects in its curriculum, including English, math, science, history, social science, world languages, visual and performing arts, agriculture, vocational education, business, consumer science, physical education, and elective programs in sciences. It also provides various other programs, such as automotive and building trades, computer science, cosmetology, culinary arts, family studies, hotel and restaurant management, marketing, and technology courses. Charlottesville High School also provides a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, golf, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, fencing, wrestling, indoor and outdoor track, soccer, and softball. The school houses a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab.
