Established in 1985, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, also known as TJHSST, offers several academic and extracurricular activities to students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides classes in math, English, science and social studies. Its sports activities include volleyball, golf, football, baseball, cheerleading, hockey, tennis, basketball, and track and field. The school supports the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the National Honor Society. In addition, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school enrolls more than 400 students annually. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is located in Alexandria, Va. The school is a part of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).
