History
The original Franklin Inn, on the corner of N. Cleveland and W. Franklin was a Museum District gathering place until 1970, changing names and ownership over the next 30 years until an enthusiastic team took over and started renovations in August 2010. The building received it's federal historic designation and reopened to supportive and enthusiastic neighborhoods on February 12, 2011. Named after Ben Franklin, the restaurant celebrates it's rich Virginia history.
