History
Owner Katty Chambers studied at Le Cordon Bleu and upon graduating she started Sweet Basil Macarons from home. Our name comes from the first macaron we started with which was the strawberry basil macaron. Our journey began as a kiosk in the Spotsylvania Towne Center. After a year, we moved to the Hurkemp Farmers Market in downtown Fredericksburg where we developed a strong following and after 3 years we opened our first bakery specializing in French macarons and custom cakes.
Specialties
We specialize in French Macarons and macaron cakes, but we also make cupcakes, brownies/blondies, tarts, flan, cream puffs, cookie sandwiches and other artisan baked goods.
