Southeastern Correctional Ministries (SCM) is a centrally-governed, interdenominational, volunteer, 501 c 3 not-for-profit, Christian organization based in Hampton, VA. Dedicated to winning the lost in jail and special institutions, SCM serves incarcerated men and women seeking a second chance in life.
SCM's mission is to bring God's love and hope to those in captivity, with volunteers serving as messengers of Jesus' hope. Through evangelism, teaching the Bible, providing biblical counseling, and discipling individuals, SCM aims to help individuals develop a daily relationship with God and walk Christ-like as exemplified by Jesus.
