St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception has been a part of the Fredericksburg community for more than 150 years. Its current home is a distinctly modern structure which at first belies its antebellum roots. In serving the local Catholic community, the church offers a number of liturgical services for its congregants throughout the year including RCIA classes, a youth ministry and a preschool. The church recently went through renovations of its sanctuary, including the installation of a new pipe organ, improved acoustics and new pews.
St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception is in the Diocese of Arlington.
