Based in Riner, Va., Riverbend Nursery is a container grower of perennials, herbs, groundcovers and ornamental grasses. It sells its products to independent garden centers, landscapers, and distributors. The nursery caters to the needs of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. The grenhouse operates from a 100-acre facility, 34 acres of which are utilized for production. Riverbend Nursery grows more than 4 million containers yearly in around 227 cold frames. In addition, it produces over 1,200 varieties in both heated and unheated greenhouses.
